FALL 2010 SCHEDULE
Schedule is posted. Click on "Games Schedule" in menu bar, click division, and then team number.
The first 3 games (8/14, 8/21 and 8/28) are considered to be "practice" games and will NOT count toward standings (Win - Loss - Tie). BUT, Referee Points WILL BE counted.
BOYS UNDER 16 - TRYOUTS FOR EXTRA PROGRAM
Become a part of the new AYSO Extra Team!! We will be holding tryouts for our new BU-16 Extra team on Tuesday, August 10th from 6 to 8pm at Community Park. The candidates will be put through many drills to evaluate their skills and overall attitude.
All players, whether AYSO or non-AYSO are encouraged to attend. If you have NOT already registered for the 2010 Fall Program, there will be a $15 fee for insurance. Please be there at least 15 to 30 minutes to be processed and sent to the fields.
WE NEED A FEW GOOD COACHES!!
If your child has not recieved a call yet from a coach, then your child is probably in one of those teams which do not have a coach. Considering that we are less than 2 weeks away from Game Day, we will keep trying to ask, beg and/or cajole the parents to step up and volunteer to coach his/her child's team. If not, we will have no recourse but to dissolve those teams and refund your registration fee. So if you want to coach, please contact our Coach Admin and he will match you up to the team with our sincere thanks. None of us want to stop our kids from playing this great sport! Thank you in advance.
REFEREE PROGRAM
Parents! Do you want to help your child's team advance to the Memorial Cup Tournament Playoffs at the end of the regular season in mid-November and possibly all the way to the Tri-Section Championship Playoffs in March/April? Become a certified referee and officiate at least 1 game every Game Day to earn points! The FINAL Referee Program Rules are posted under "Referee Corner".
We are still working with MVUSD in obtaining permits to hold a Regional (Basic) Referee certification course on 8/7 and one more day after that. Please keep visiting our page for updates.
U05 SOCCER ACADEMY
AYSO Region 187 is excited to offer another season of U-05 Soccer Academy for children who were 4 years old by July 31, 2010. The academy will focus on developing these young player's technical skills in a fun and interactive environment. If you still want to register your child, please refer to the Registration link at the top.

TEAM SPONSORSHIPS
Although the Region is not doing per player fundraisers this season, we do require each team to get sponsors from local or other businesses. The sponsorship will get you a free Shakey's Pizza Party at the end of the season (see Team Parent link for more information). Please get a Sponsorship Form (under the Forms link) and get your sponsorships ready!
